Features and application:
Hot die steel, is a non-nickel forging die steel, performance and 5CrNiMo steel close. ≤ 400mm side length is suitable for production of medium-sized forging dies.
Chemical Composition:
C: 0.50 ~ 0.60
Si: 0.25 ~ 0.60
Mn: 1.20 ~ 1.60
S: ≤ 0.030
P: ≤ 0.030
Cr: 0.60 ~ 0.90
Ni: to allow the residual content of ≤ 0.25
Cu: to allow the residual content of ≤ 0.30
Mo: 0.15 ~ 0.30

Mechanical Properties:
Hardness: Annealing, 241 ~ 197HB, indentation diameter of 3.9 ~ 4.3mm

Heat treatment parameters and microstructure:
Standard heat treatment: quenching, 820 ~ 850 oil-cooling.
