Features and application:
Measuring and cutting tools of steel, is a small amount of chromium-containing low-alloy tool steel. After the general post-cold-rolled into a thin strip used to produce low-load operation, requiring a sharp edge tool, such as surgical knives, shaving blades, etc.. Also be used as a scraper, chisel, file and wool scissors and other manual and motorized tools.

Chemical Composition:
C: 1.30 ~ 1.45
Si: ≤ 0.40
Mn: ≤ 0.40
S: ≤ 0.030
P: ≤ 0.030
Cr: 0.50 ~ 0.70
Ni: to allow the residual content of ≤ 0.25
Cu: to allow the residual content of ≤ 0.30

Mechanical Properties:
Hardness: Annealing, 241 ~ 187HB, indentation diameter of 3.9 ~ 4.4mm; quenching, ≥ 64HRC

Heat treatment parameters and microstructure:
Heat treatment specifications: The specimen quenched 780 ~ 810 , water-cooled.

Delivery status: Delivery of steel to annealing.
