Features and application:
Measuring and cutting tools of steel, this steel composition and GCr15 bearing steel rather, its hardenability, hardness and wear resistance as compared with a high carbon tool steel, heat treatment when the size change is not great. Widely used as measuring tools, such as templates, card board, sample sets of gauge block gauge, ring gauge, thread plug gauge and sample columns, etc. can also be used to make wire drawing dies and molds for cold-working die cold upsetting, as well as low-speed cutting tool is not too hard materials.

Chemical Composition:
C: 0.95 ~ 1.10
Si: ≤ 0.40
Mn: ≤ 0.40
S: ≤ 0.030
P: ≤ 0.030
Cr: 1.30 ~ 1.65
Ni: to allow the residual content of ≤ 0.25
Cu: to allow the residual content of ≤ 0.30

Mechanical Properties:
Hardness: Annealing, 229 ~ 179HB, indentation diameter of 4.0 ~ 4.5mm; quenching, ≥ 62HRC

Heat treatment parameters and microstructure:
Heat treatment specifications: The specimen quenched 830 ~ 860 , oil-cooling.

Delivery status: Delivery of steel to annealing.
